SWIMMING TURTLES was carved from a piece of white Georgia marble which I selected for the purpose of creating a sculpture to grace the entrance to my house. These two turtles, side by side, began to embrace the concept of love and mutual aid which we all desire in our home lives. It became a fitting piece to express my emotions.
