Having returned from India and the many days and weeks of seeing and breathing the culture of that exotic country, I found the creation of NANDI to be a natural culmination of our trip. NANDI was the bull which served as the mount for the god SHIVA and the gatekeeper of SHIVA and PARVATI.He is our gatekeeper as well as he sits in the front garden facing the street.
