Gigantic Head —

Description:

This sculpture was carved from white Georgia marble using hand chisels, pointer, hammer, grinders and grinding discs, silicone carbide paper and a wood vise. I wore protective goggles and ear protectors, a face mask, a leather apron, insulated gloves to diminish vibrations,and steel tipped boots. Various sized chisels were used as needed,and I had a suck-out-fan to diminish the marble dust in my workroom.
