This piece was carved out of stone and then cast in stainless steel. The logo was sand blasted and then airbrushed on. This is a real life size sculpture of a York Peppermint Patie. It looks like the real deal, except for the weight, which is heaver than the real deal. This representational sculpture is part of my "Realism in Stone" collection, as it is a recognizable product from American pop culture. This modern sculpture is one that many people really enjoy because it is relatively small, yet it is packed with accuracy and details that make it look just like the actual candy.
