This bottle is carved out of a solid piece of red travertine. The label is added on once the piece is carved out and polished. The top is a piece of Carrara marble. This stone sculpture is part of my "Realism in Stone" collection, which depicts iconic products from American pop culture. This representational sculpture is one that is widely recognized by observers due to the popularity that Heinz Ketchup has attained over the years. The key ingredient to this modern sculpture was mirroring the shape of the bottle so that it could be mistaken as the real thing.
