This sculpture was hand hammered out of sheet steel using traditional blacksmithing techniques. This process offers the unique perspective of the perfect inverse image from the front to the back. This also creates the optical illusion from the back that you are seeing the front. The sculpture was given a unique patina and display stand to offer a feeling that the piece is ancient and was discovered buried in the ground and this is the only part of the sculpture that survived the ravages of time.
