Ram Daggerman 2008 - Consorts to the Mountain Goddess bronzetti by Meika Loofs Samorzewski of Tasmania is a bronze Consort to the Mountain Goddess. These consorts are based on votive doll-like bronze figures recovered from Eastern Crete, including caves where Zeus was later brought up, such as the Dictaean Cave near Psichro and the Idaian Cave at Mount Psiloritis. This is a original piece and there is no full reference mold for it (a construction part mold in perishable polyurethane does exist). The scarification represents his Tasmanian lost-wax manufacture, and Kunanyi (Mt Wellington in Hobart) is his Mountain Goddess. dimensions 20cm x 12cm x 6cm mass: 1.9 kg cheers, meika http://twitter.com/meika |
