| Austin, Texas...Building Namesake Sculpture Installed Texas Sculptor, Edd Hayes recently finished and installed a 6' 4" life-size bronze portrait of longtime, Texas Senate Parlimentarian, Robert E. Johnson at The Robert E. Johnson Building, home to The Texas Legislative Council, one block north of the State Capitol in Austin, Texas. The bronze sculpture is mounted on a 3'x 3'x 3' 10,000 lb. block of Texas pink granite. Hayes maintains a studio and gallery in historical, Old Town Spring, Texas and was honored in 1998 as "Official Texas State Sculptor". |
