| Bearly Serious, a life-size seated grizzly sculpted by Dawn Weimer has been on display in the Sculpture on Loan Program of the Greeley Art Commission, Greeley, Colorado for the past year. Garnering the most votes for purchase by Greeley residents, Bearly Serious was purchased by the Greeley Art Commission in October 2001 for permanent installation. "With their endless antics, bears are one of my favorite subjects. They can be very serious but also be fun loving and playful. This young bear is playing with his foot and scratchin' his tummy...a little fun, but bearly serious!" |
