Facts About "Crossing Paths" The University of Florida started removing the campus statues Thursday, except for the 20-foot-tall sculpture of a couple dancing on the Plaza of the Americas that is expected to remain until March. The off-campus sculptures are scheduled for removal Oct. 18. For more information on the "Crossing Paths" exhibition and the work of J. Crossing Paths exhibition removal On Thursday, the University of Florida started removing the sculptures, part of the public art exhibition "Crossing Paths." The exhibition on campus and in other parts of Gainesville featured 25 sculptures by the artist Seward Johnson, some depicting people doing everyday activities and others inspired by famous works of art. |
