Kent Ullberg sculpture |
KSDK.com ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI -- An elephant will soon greet visitors to the St. Louis Zoo. The "Reaching Elephant" bronze sculpture is 19 feet high and weighs 2.5 tons. It will be placed outside the St. Louis Zoo's new South Entrance on June 17. Wildlife sculpture Kent Ullberg in Colorado created the statue and brought it to St. Louis. When the new South Entrance opens, it will include the sculpture, a naturalistic bridge over Wells Drive, expanded greenery and life-size African wildlife sculptures also created by Kent Ullberg. |
Another wonderful Kent Ullberg sculpture. This man's sculpture career is exemplary - so many interesting projects that are so well done. |
