Sculptor Ken Rowe Donates Bronze to Verde Valley Sanctuary RaffleSedona, AZ (September 21, 2010) - Renowned wildlife sculptor Ken Rowe, co-owner of Rowe Fine Art Gallery, has donated "Wings of Thunder," one of his bronze sculptures, to the Verde Valley Sanctuary's 365 Days of Hope raffle. Come view the sculpture and purchase tickets for the raffle on Oct. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery during the Sedona Gallery Association's 1st Friday Gallery Tour. Raffle tickets are only $10 each or 12 for $100. All proceeds benefit the Verde Valley Sanctuary, a multi-service agency that responds to the problem of domestic abuse in the Sedona and Verde Valley communities. Wine and appetizers will be served, and gallery representatives will be on hand to discuss all of Rowe Gallery's accomplished artists. "My wife Monica and I are big supporters of the Verde Valley Sanctuary - they provide an invaluable resource to our community," says Ken. "I am proud to help by donating a sculpture that I hope will make a difference in the lives of local women and children in abusive situations." The 365 Days of Hope raffle began in April 2010 as a way to raise funds for the nonprofit sanctuary that has seen its government-funding cut in recent years. Raffle winners will be drawn in April 2011. For a complete list of prizes and information about the Verde Valley Sanctuary, visit www.verdevalleysanctuary.org. |
