| ydr.com Associated Press Dover native Jeff Koons introduced two sculptures at the Pinchuk Art Center in Kiev, Ukraine Friday. Koons was in York April 11 to accept the Distinguished Arts Award during the Governor's Awards for the Arts at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center. Jeff Koons a major contemporary artist-provocateur that is considered one of the most well-known and intriguing artists of the 20th century presents his Cracked Egg monumental sculpture at the Pinchuk Art Center in Kiev, Ukraine, Friday. The sculpture made high chromium stainless steel with transparent color coating is presented for the first time ever. The Pinchuk Art Centre presented a major international group exhibition with 19 leading artists of our time devoted to Sexuality and Transcendence on view April 24 through Sept.16.
