Edd Hayes has completed the commissioned bronze portrait sculpture of Micheal E. Debakey, M.D. This bronze sculpture monument to Dr. DeBakey is an over life-size bronze that stands 12 ft. high. It is installed in front of the new DeBakey Museum and Library at Baylor College of Medicine, Medical Center, Houston, Texas. |
 I'm proud to say I've known Edd Hayes and his work for over 10 years. Edd is a master at bringing out real-life detail with feeling in bronze. This Michael E. Debakey, M.D. bronze is no exception. In addition, I might add that Edd Hayes is the Official State Sculptor of Texas! |
