New Mixed-Media Sculpture at new GalleryClaudia Cohen hopes to have this new piece delivered at a new gallery in Sausalito, Cassandra Kirsten's new place on Bridgeway, opening the weekend! She is well know in the Bay Area art world for her two previous galleries, in Oakland and Marin. I thought this might be a good piece for her new place... The new piece "The Hands of Time" (pictured below) won't be at the Sausalito Art Fair, but at Cassandra Kirsten's new gallery. About Sausalito: I'll be on the back court this year, near the music.  The Hands Of Time by Claudia Cohen 30" x 20" x 15", 2010 ,Ceramic, books, and mixed media, with haiku's about time on the clock hands that are the leaves of this image of the passage of life and time. An artist book show inspired this rumination on the passage of time, and the growth of wisdom. |
