Christopher Stone Sculpture |
"The Fiddler", 45cm, wire armature, and silver solder, 87% silver. The armature is fashioned into the desired form, then molten silver is added drip by drip along the wire, sometimes building up into an almost solid mass, and sometimes barely covering the wire, like a thread. |
Another Christopher Stone creation - this time of a struggling violinist, "portraying an intent, focused, person, who was lost in her musical endeavors." at least that what Christopher says and I agree with him. He is always pushing the limits in his sculpture subject matter as well as the medium. Not always easy to do! |
