All Art News Fuengirola, Spain.-- On Thursday the 3rd of February 2011, the Casa de la Cultura in Fuengirola held an exciting exhibition of the works a number of important and well respected artists, organized by Stephen Howes of Stephen Howes Fine Art." The inauguration of the exhibition was well attended by well over 150 persons, including the American Consul, artists, as well as visitors and critics who had travelled internationally and are involved directly in the art world. The Television, radio, and the press were also in strong attendance supporting this important cultural event. The art on display was varied and of a high standard, and included the works of British sculptor Christopher Stone, painters Andy Bonomo, James Connell, Laim Delany, Caroline Cary, Stuart Briggs, Johan Wahlstrom, Marco Bombach, Caroline Louise Smith, Jim Park, Nicholas De Lacy Brown, Janette Lockett, and David Hulston. Stephen Howes Quotes, " This inaguration was a complete success and far beyond our expectations, we are positive that the remaining weeks of the show will easily tip the balance proving that the Art market on the Costa del sol and else where is an alive and healthy business that can go from strength to strength. I believe that now is the time for the sturdy and the brave to gain their toe hold and go on to become future market leaders in the art world. The out come of this show for me and my artists is a sure sign that my next spectacular " A million euros of art" to be held at the Marbella casino in May will be one of the greatest art exhibition ever held in Andalucia". My team and I are at this moment negotiating with a major London venue regarding our future project that will be held there initially before moving on to Chelsea, New york, NY. |
Stephen Howes Fine Art now represents Christopher Stone. This appears to be a wonderful exhibition-reception. Wish I could have been there! A great sculpture by Christopher Stone. |
