These awards have been achieved through the vision of our founder, Roy Guthrie and the support of our partners Mcwhinney and DTJDesign, and we are grateful to our friends and followers who have welcomed us to Loveland - The Sculpture City of North America.

Zimbabwean Stone Sculpture has been a contemporary art phenomenon that has played a significant role in the development of art from Africa. Since the 1970s, Chapungu has run almost all the major exhibitions of these works in International Museums and Botanic Gardens and established the reputations and careers of many artists, bringing much critical acclaim to the art form. Chapungu and its partners set up the 26 acre park exhibiting 82 monumental sculptures in November 2007. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, it is the largest sculpture park in Northern Colorado. The exhibit,entitled "Chapungu : Stories In Stone- An African Perspective of Family", is displayed amongst beautiful natural and landscaped gardens. Open all Year.
