Calvin Babich Sculpture "The Rock Family" |
| SculptSite.com Calvin Babich has created "The Rock Family" which are life-size stone figures depicting a family on an outing with a mother, a father, a boy and his dog, along with rock balloons. The entire sculpture is made out of boulders that are drilled and have metal bars that are epoxied throughout. The piece was originally made as an entry for last year's ArtPrize (http://www.artprize.org/) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which is the world's largest art prize. |
