FOX Chicago NewsPSears wants to buy back Willis Tower sculptureOld owners want to buy sculpture back Chicago - There's a legal tussle underway between the former and new owners of Chicago's tallest building over a sculpture in the Willis Tower. The sculpture by Alexander Calder in the lobby is called The Universe. The building's previous owner said it has an agreement that allows them to buy the sculpture at half price. The new owners said that's not so. The issue is before the courts. The estimated cost of moving the sculpture is $250,000. |
