I imagine this gal eagerly awaiting her master’s next command. The color of the small elegant bronze on travertine reminds me of fall grasses through which she is heeling and asking, “What’s next?” The title may be taken two ways: Is the dog living to please you, or are you living to please the dog? It seems more like the second way with my own dogs! "Lives to Please" is modeled after master hunter and 2004 obedience queen, Miss Soupy, for the Miners Kennel. When Nancy Miner called to tell me the piece had arrived, she left a simple message, “Awesome…makes me cry! Awesome. Thank you!” Her voice then made me cry… and… grin from ear to ear! Each “Lives to Please” is made one at a time by my hand-selected specialists in Colorado, USA. Each includes a Certificate of Authenticity, my signature and my mark, JKß. Enjoy!
