Michelle has been experimenting with and making objects out of glass for twenty years.  Her range includes, platters/bowls, pendants, wall pieces and sculptures.  Her current focus is on making block sculptures. A recurring theme throughout her work is line and colour and she is particularly drawn to vibrant stripes and these patterns can be seen repeatedly in her work.  Sometimes the stripes are rigid, sometimes they are squiggly and  sometimes they float.  Michelle works from her home studio surrounded by eucalyptus bush and farmland in the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia.

Michelle holds a Graduate Certificate in Visual Arts from Victoria College of the Arts, Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Visual Arts from Monash University, Melbourne, as well as numerous workshops developing specific skills.

As well as exhibiting her work in solo and group exhibitions in Australia and overseas, she has shown her work in various galleries, including:   the Wharf gallery in Williamstown,  Seaview Gallery in Queenscliff,  Metropolis Gallery in Geelong,   Waterwheel in Warburton and Lindengate in Tarrawarra, in the Yarra Valley.
