We are not of today, nether yesterday, we are from an immense age.

Lerou is a stone sculptor located in Montreal, Canada.  Her works refers to a Jungian search of archetypal forces emerging  from the unconscious and coming into action in our daily life. The characters that emerge from her hands represent mythical beings and timeless, archetypal forces, from our human history.

In technical terms, Lerou is attached to the representation of the human body, not tinged with realism, but through round shapes and stylized lines, suggestions, mainly reflecting the soul.

Selected by the Paris Fine Arts Society, she had the privilege to lead the Canadian delegation at their Annual Show in 2011. She was then awarded the  "Prize of Honour SNBA Salon 2011" for her sculpture entitled "Aquarius”.

She realized in 2012, a 10 tons monumental stone sculpture, named “The Guardian of the Water” for the City of Boisbriand, Québec, Canada. This sculpture is dedicated to the protection of drinkable water resources.

She is member of the R.A.A.V, board vice-president of the Quebec Sculpture Council and member of  ASPM - stone sculptors and Atelier 213.
