John Foster is a 77 year old retired research and development, electro-mechanical engineer of the nuclear, aerospace, fluidic, civil and commercial fields...home builder, general contractor, artist, sculptor, author and lecturer. He has pursued art throughout his various careers and has been able to create art full time since his retirement. Among his creations are stone sculptures and sculptures of various multi-mediums, using stone, brass, steel, wood, glass, gemstones and acrylic. He has a passion for creating representative stone sculpture and oil painting. He recently has created a series of stone flower sculptures he has entitled "The Rock 'N' Roses Collection."
John was born in Middle America, in Lincoln, Nebraska where he and his lovely wife, "Annie" presently live. John works from several painting and sculpture studios he has designed and constructed at his home.
