Since I was very young, I have had a passion for assembling and creating things from steel.  I collected nuts, bolts and anything metal and using my imagination, I created basic sculptures by gas welding as early as 10 years old.

I love to take unlikely items, used and discarded steel and make something beautiful with them.  Gas welding has always been my favorite method, but I also use arc welders and other methods of joining metal.  My favorite tools were made by my father and I while he was still alive and they hold great sentimental value to me.  It’s as if he were always with me working together in the shop.

My Mind is constantly racing with new ideas and possibilities.  When I see an old pipe or distorted piece of Steel or a car part, I see something completely finished in my mind.  Perhaps it will be something crazy, whimsical, comical or bursting with energy.  I can hardly wait to get started creating it.

For me, Creating is the best therapy.  I have multiple problems in my back causing chronic pain but working from a chair and little by little, I am taken to another place and realm where my creations slowly take shape and the pain is temporarily forgotten.

I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it.  Be sure to keep checking back because I am always working on something new and exciting.
