Multimedia Artist Bruce Butler is known for molding steel like clay. His metal sculptures are known around the world. Bruce was born in the Fort Lowell area of Tucson, Arizona in 1950. He spent his childhood experiencing the wonders and cultures of the desert  while traveling throughout  the southwest. Bruce received a degree from the University of Arizona where he studied Art and Education. He has traveled extensively as a model for Playboy Models Inc., and was the "Camel Man" for the international market.

Teaching, being his goal after modeling, took Bruce to Ajo, Arizona where he taught art and coached athletics for over a decade. His exposure to the Native-American people and culture while crossing the reservation to and from Tucson, Arizona has influenced the hybrid-tribal characters and style of his sculptures.

Using an arc-welder and oxy-acetylene torch, Bruce creates figurative pieces of women, horses, shaman, padres, and whatever creative direction might elicit.

His artistic force is incorporated in every aspect of his life, but he is rapidly becoming known for his dramatic sculptures. Each piece possesses an intensely personal presence and Identity of its own and is created from found objects and discarded farm equipment, making them one of a kind. His works are bold and powerful.
His pieces have been sought out by both private collectors and public corporations throughout the United States. Articles have been published about his work in the Tucson Newspapers and the May/ June, 2007 issue of the Tucson Lifestyle Magazine. He has also been featured on the Local News channels.
He currently shows his sculptures in the Verdigris Gallery, soon to be Eisenart Innovations Gallery (Tlaquepaque) in Sedona, Arizona, the Feminine Mystic Elite Gallery in Tubac Arizona, and Jane Hamilton's Fine Art Gallery in Tucson, Arizona.
